Research: Tatarstan needs specialists in AI and end-to-end technologies

Under the educational project “Artificial Intelligence: a quick start from scratch”, Kazan experts conducted research in Tatarstan. According to them, the region lacks developments in artificial intelligence and end-to-end technologies and qualified personnel. The organizing committee of the project reports. 

During the study, five experts were interviewed, namely, Director of the Higher School of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University (KFU) Mikhail Abramsky, Head of the Technology Transfer and Commercialization Department, Associate Professor of KFU (Higher School of IT and Intelligent Systems) Bulat Zapparov, Associate Professor and Leading Researcher of KFU ( Higher School of IT and Intelligent Systems) Vlada Kugurakova, Deputy Director of ICL Services (part of ICL Group) for special programmes Andrey Krekhov and technology broker, programmer, AI specialist Denis Abramov.

The most promising areas where AI and end-to-end technologies are required in Tatarstan are: banking and the financial sector, retail, agricultural holdings, pharmacology, oil production, the defense industry, and car manufacturing.
